Dear Arizona Chess Scene-

As a reminder, the Master Trek Grand Prix Cup tournament will be at the Memorial Union Building this Saturday, January 16th! See you then! If you haven’t registered yet, and want to avoid the late fee, click here.

“Team Yermo” will still be headed to Tucson next weekend for the Tucson Open. If you want to reserve one of the remaining spots to have your games reviewed by a Grand Master, click here. Grand Master Yermolinsky will also be giving Private Lessons, instructing in a Strategy Session, and for players rated 1800+ the current registration list for the Showdown includes a slew of titled players:

GM Yermolinsky (2587)
IM Aldama (2519)
IM Ginsburg (2427)
FM Atoufi (2333)
NM Martinez (2261)
NM Adelberg (2216)

American Chess Events LLC would like to congratulate many of the outstanding performances from this past weekend’s AZ State Grade Championship! Because the list of participants would be a little long in an email, we will just extend a “big congrats to be spread around”, and if you want to see the full list of results, click here!
