For Beginning & Intermediate Scholastic Players

WHEN & WHERE:
February 4, 2005.
ASU Campus, Memorial Union, Alumni Room.
Parking available at Parking Structure #1, on the corner of Apache Blvd. and Normal.
Structures and lots are free except during special events.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
For players rated U1000.
Two levels: Unrated to 699 & 700 to 1000.
5 rounds Swiss System. G/30.
1/2 point bye for any one round if notified one day prior to event.
Sets and boards provided. Bring clock.
Must be a USCF member. May join USCF on site for a $13 fee.

ROUND TIMES:
Round 1, 9am. Round 2, 10:05am.
Round 3, 11:10am. Round 4, 12:40pm. Round 5, 1:45pm.

ENTRY FEE:
$17 by Friday before tournament, $20 at site.
Registration and check in by 8:45am Saturday morning.

AWARDS:
Trophies to Top 10 Places in both levels.
Must win three games to possibly receive a trophy.
Must win two games to receive a medal, if not then receive a ribbon.

February 18.
