Top Players List

Last Updated: March 30th, 2010 by Daniel Rensch

The American Chess Events, LLC Top Player’s List is designed to acknowledge the “Top Players” throughout the state of Arizona whom consistently participate in ACE Chess Tournaments. Other than the ACE Staff, we do not recognize adult players. For a full list of Arizona’s highest rated active players, click here. A Player must have competed in at least 4 or more events during the 2009-2010 Grand Prix Cup Season in order to be eligible for the ACE Chess Top Player’s List. Thank you for your support. Is there going to be another Copper STate INternational and when?
    Thanks, Fedor

  2. Daniel Rensch Says:

    Fedor,

Yes, the details have been posted. Who are you asking for? You must act quickly, as I am almost out of spots. Here is the link:

Hi Danny ~ I think your Top Player lists in the K-6 and Junior High section are a bit mixed up. David, Daniel, Luc, Jarod, Vedant and Nick are all in Jr. High – Alec, Tony and Jonathan are all still in grade school. Just thought you may want to know . . .

  4. Daniel Rensch Says:

    Steve,

Yes, we definitely want to know those things. Every one of those changes will be made right now.

  5. Martha U Says:

Just curious…you’ve got at least one player who’s only played in one tournament this year (k-6)….I thought the guidelines stated that in order to be on the list you had to play in four tournaments???

  6. Daniel Rensch Says:

    Martha,

Who are the players? Some times they slip by us… not a perfect science, we just try to keep it up to date…

No worries..I’ll talk to you Sat…I certainly do not want these kids taken off the list, but curious about others, who have played in the same number of tournaments who might be added to the list…that’s all…..
